ARK Kidney ® is a sterile, non-toxic, and non-pyrogenic kidney preservation solution specifically formulated with low potassium and high sodium concentrations to mimic extracellular conditions. Designed for in vitro flushing, cold storage, and transport of renal grafts, it maintains a physiological pH of approximately 7.4 and an osmolality of ~300 mOsm/kg. This balanced composition ensures cellular integrity, minimizes ischemic injury, and enhances graft viability during transplantation procedures, supporting improved post-transplant function and clinical outcomes.
