StoreProtect Plus is a sterile, non-pyrogenic preservation solution used for flushing and hypothermic storage of organs. It is designed for medical professionals involved in organ transplantation.
Unlike UW solution, StoreProtect Plus has low potassium and high sodium, lower viscosity, and uses PEG 35 instead of HES, reducing vasoconstriction and red blood cell aggregation risks.
StoreProtect Plus has a physiological pH of 7.4 and osmolality around 290 mOsm/kg, which helps maintain cell stability and function during cold storage of transplant organs.
Key ingredients include Lactobionic acid, Adenosine, Allopurinol, Glutathione, Raffinose, PEG 35, and essential salts, each supporting cellular protection, osmotic balance, and oxidative damage prevention during organ storage.
StoreProtect Plus is available in two sizes: 1000 mL and 2000 mL. These options ensure sufficient volume for different organ types and procedural requirements in transplant surgeries.
Store at 2°C to 25°C and avoid freezing. Proper storage preserves the solution’s stability and effectiveness, maintaining its shelf life of 18 months for safe medical usage.
